Description- Growing up in a small town, I could not wait to live somewhere bigger. A place with good food on every corner, entertainment, pretty lights everywhere, an apartment with no yard, and an outgoing city-boy husband. I had it all planned out. Or so I thought I did.
As you journey with me in this book From Zero To Four, you will find that there was a bigger and better plan already set forth for me. A journey that never in a million years, I would have taken. It was a journey of living the country life, meeting the exact opposite man of my dreams, having children, going on an adoption journey, and finding a huge awakening in my faith.

This book is full of entertainment, laughter, possibly a few tears, and many plot twists along the way. It is encouraging and hopeful and captures my Minnesota extrovert personality well. More than anything, I pray this book brings insight and hope in your life where you need it most, and these pages speak to your heart in some amazing way.

Highlights of this Book

Faith As the girl who prayed the same four-ish prayers every night, sometimes a little more when I wanted something really important like the cute boy to ask me out or to win a volleyball game, my relationship with God was very stagnant. You will journey with me as I find a huge awakening in my faith from a vessel of a girl and my over-the-top love for coffee. Once I actually allow this really big God more into my life, you will find that He takes me on the hardest and wildest journey with a lot of twists and turns along the way. One that I would have never thought in a million years to go on.

Marriage- I had the perfect idea on the type of guy that I would marry. One that fit my world, personality, and style very well. When this chevy truck comes rolling into town, you will quickly find that the guy who stepped out of it was quite the opposite man of my dreams. Not only do you get my perspective on the beautiful and very hard parts of our marriage, but you also will get a few laughs from my husband's perspective on it as well.

Motherhood- You will read about this wild scene from my chaotic bathroom as I felt a little out of my body wondering how the heck I went from wanting zero children to now having four. The journey of motherhood that I take you on will make you laugh and possibly shed a few tears along the way.

Adoption- Never in my wildest dreams did I plan to be an adoptive mama. It was something that was never discussed in our marriage plan nor did I know many people who have adopted. But after saying my family was complete (for the third time), something little started weighing on my heart and kept growing and growing. Finally, we said yes to the hardest journey we ever walked through as a family together but one we would all walk through a million times over.
